Ontario born Bass-Baritone Aaron Dimoff has gained a reputation as a versatile, powerhouse vocalist across western Canada and beyond.
He studied at the University of Western Ontario under the tutelage of renowned Canadian baritones Kevin McMillan and Theodore Baerg. An Alumnus of the Calgary Opera Emerging Artist Program, Aaron has been rising in demand while keeping regular appearances with his home company, Calgary Opera. Past engagements include Zuniga (Carmen), Der Sprecher (Die Zauberflöte), Father/Peter (Hansel and Gretel), Old Slave (Elektra), Antonio (Le Nozze di Figaro), Collatinus (The Rape of Lucretia), Imperial Commissioner (Madama Butterfly), Des Grieux (Le Portrait de Manon), and the British Major in the Canadian Premier of Silent Night.
Recent appearances include the Mandarin (Turandot), Basilio (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) and Sacristan (Tosca) with Calgary Opera, and Sparafucile/Monterone (Rigoletto) with Edmonton Opera.
Upcoming engagements include Herr von Faninal in Der Rosenkavalier with Calgary Civic Symphony.
